Our name

The name Cyber74 originated from the metaphor that our cybersecurity services and capabilities are as strong and complete as tungsten metal.​

Tungsten, also called wolfram, is a chemical element found on the periodic table with the symbol W and atomic number 74. It is a rare metal found naturally on Earth and is known to be exceptionally strong and unbreakable – outperforming all other elements. When turned into a compound, tungsten has unmatched density, durability, and strength.​

Therefore, Cyber, to denote cybersecurity; 74, the atomic number of tungsten, represents cybersecurity services that are unmatched in the market. Our clients receive complete and dynamic cybersecurity solutions that are  extraordinarily strong and dependable. Eric Monda

President

Eric Monda helped launch Cyber74 in 2022 and currently serves as its President. With over 20 years in the IT space and more than a decade dedicated to cybersecurity, Eric has a deep understanding of the industry. 

His vast experience includes penetration testing, detection engineering, leading forensic analysis and incident response, and conducting Security Risk Assessments. Eric remains a truly hands-on cybersecurity professional, passionate about growing his knowledge and staying abreast of industry changes, trends and technologies so he can inform, educate, and assist clients. He enjoys collaborating with organizations to strategize and help mitigate risk to their businesses and remediate security issues.

Tim Weber

Vice President of Channel Growth

In 2022, Tim helped launch Cyber74 as its VP of Channel Growth. With 30 years of experience in the IT and cybersecurity industries, Tim has served in a variety of IT and leadership roles. Tim works with clients and partners throughout North America to help them create more secure IT environments. He is passionate about cybersecurity and its evolution in the market.  

Tim is consulted as a cybersecurity expert by media regionally and nationally and has appeared in The New York Times on multiple occasions. Continuing to increase his skills and knowledge is a critical component of his success. He has earned industry recognition through certifications including CMMC-AB Registered Practitioner, CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker). Tim holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University.  

A frequent speaker at conferences and industry events in North America and internationally, Tim strives to help his audience think differently about cybersecurity and risk. He serves his community as Assistant Chief at his local Fire Department and is focused on training and mentoring department members. As a blogger, TV, radio and podcast guest, Tim frequently draws parallels between his work as a firefighter and an IT security expert.

Marissa Troncoso

PMO Manager

Marissa Troncoso serves as Cyber74’s PMO Manager, working directly with clients and leadership to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget. Marissa has over a decade of project management experience in the IT and cybersecurity industries.

Throughout her career Marissa has worked with all types of organizations including federal government and state agencies. Marissa excels at communication, conflict resolution, documentation, and time management. She is passionate about helping clients navigate projects successfully and making complex engagements simple and efficient. 

Marissa holds a Certificate of Achievement in The Essentials of Project Management.

David Endicott

Director of Cyber Security Services

David Endicott is Director of Cyber Security Services at Cyber74. David has extensive experience working with clients of all sizes across many industries and works closely with clients on compliance initiatives for CMMC, HIPAA, and NIST 800-171. As Director of Cyber Security Services, David is focused on creating and delivering industry-leading advanced cybersecurity services and managing complex security and compliance projects. 

David has directed and overseen technology implementations and security and compliance initiatives in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, transportation, government contractors, municipal governments, public safety, emergency services, and medical organizations. He is passionate about helping organizations evolve their cybersecurity strategies to achieve and maintain compliance and enhance their security posture.
